HOW ONLINE SESSIONS WORK
Here are the necessary steps to record your drums. It's very straightforward.
Recording Studioなどで録音をする場合、必要なプロセスは、
スタジオを押さえる、ミュージシャンとエンジニアにオファーする、譜面を用意する、駐車場の有無、時間的制約を吟味する、など当日を迎えるための準備が多々あります。
ここでは、MUSASHISEKI DRSが実際どのようなプロセスで録音を行うのか、見てみましょう。
1. GET IN TOUCH
まずはあなたのプロジェクト、曲などについて教えてください。サウンド、方向性など一緒に考えましょう。連絡方法は、Get startedページからでもいいですし、メール、facebookからでも構いません。
2. Demo recording
送っていただいた曲のデータを元に、仮recordingしたトラック、または方向性に見合ったサンプルを作成して送ります。
3. Discussion
仮recordingしたデモを聞いていただき、さらに詳細をつめてシビアな部分も含めて共有していきます。
4. Recoding Session
recordingを行います（zoomや、ListenToを使ってのオンライン立ち合いrecordingも可能です。）
録音テイクを聞いていただき、OKかどうか判断していただきます。
もし必要でしたら、さらにrecording sessionを行います。
5. Downlord
納得いくものが完成しましたら、料金をお支払いください。Paypal、または銀行振り込みに対応して
おります。
確認がとれ次第、オケと混ぜた2mix、drumのみの2mix、drum stem dataを送ります。
あとはお使いの編集ソフト(protools,cubase,Logicなど)に流し込むだけです。
補足
曲のデータのbit数とサンプリングレートを教えてください。（例：24bit 48KHz）
一般的には、16bit 44,1Khz以上が望ましいです。
楽曲のステムdata(もし打ち込みdrumも入ってればそれも含む)を送ってください。
もし、時間がない場合、仮recordingの際は簡単なガイドだけでも構いません。
各trackのデータは、全て同じポイントからスタートしたものを送ってください。例えば、途中から入っているコーラスのtrackをstemで送っていただける場合も、曲の最初から書き出してください。
曲のbpmを教えてください。もし、クリックtrackがある場合、それも送ってください。
もし譜面等がありましたら送ってください。データはPDFなどＰＣで表示できるもの、難しいようでしたら携帯、スマートフォン等で撮った画像でも構いません
zoomアプリを使い、オンラインでやりとりしながらレコーディングも可能です。
ListenToというプラグインがありますので、こちらから送ったURLをgoogle chromeで立ち上げればレコーディングの音をリアルタイムで聞くことが出来ます。
When you record at a conventional recording studio,
there are many things that you need to consider prior to the day of the recording; for example, booking the studio, hiring musicians and engineers, preparing music scores, reserving parking spaces and managing the recording schedule.
Let's look at how a recording actually takes place at Tokyo Musashiseki Drum Recording Service.
1. GET IN TOUCH
Please first tell us about your project and songs. We'll discuss the sound and feel that you're looking for.
You can contact us on the "Get started" page of the website or via email and facebook.
2. Demo recording
Using the song data that you send us, we will do a trial recording or create a sample that would match the musicality of the song, and send it to you.
3. Discussion
Once you have listened to the trial recording, we'll discuss in detail in order for us to fully understand your musical intentions and to convey them in the next recording.
4. Recoding Session
We will record at least 2 takes that will be mixed with the minus-one track.
If you're not satisfied with the result, we will continue the recording session.
5. Downlord
You will only have to pay us when you hear a take that you like.
Please pay by PayPal or by bank transfer. As soon as we confirm the transaction, we will send you all the data of the recording.
All you need to do is upload the data on your audio editing software (protools, cubase, Logic etc.)
Please tell us the bit size of the song data and its sampling rate. (ex. 24bit 48Khz)
In general, we set them at 16bit and 44.1Khz.
Please send us the stereo mix data of the song (if it includes sequenced drum patterns, please keep them in the track) and the stereo mix data of the song without the drum track.
If you are in a hurry and can't find time to discuss the song, please give us general directions before we start recording the trial version.
Note
Please make sure that all the tracks start at the same time code.
Namely, even if you can send us a stem of a chorus part that starts at the middle of the song, we still need you to send us the track data that begins simultaneously with the rest of the tracks.
Please tell us the bpm of the song. If you have a click track, please send us that, too.
If you have music scores, please send us that, too. Data must be PC compatible (e.g. PDF). Otherwise, please send us photos taken with your mobile or smartphone.
Of course, you're welcome to come to the studio for the recording session. In which case we will contact you.
